With the arrival of spring on the Croatian coast, I experienced numerous distinctive sounds, which I was delighted to capture. One of those was the melodious song of a common nightingale throughout the entire night in a now dry river gorge of Velika Paklenica. The gorge positioned on the seafront is 14.5 km long and features narrow and deep sections with unique geological formations.
