Tropical Nocturnal Utopian Symphony

Artist:
Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
Notes:

This recording is part of a nocturnal soundscape in a so-called “quaint utopia”, in this interior municipality of the incredibly rich state of Rio Grande do Sul.
Arriving here was like entering a portal. Lush green crossed by beautiful shallow rivers and the occasional waterfall, called “cachoeira”. Dazed dirt roads, a constant symphony of birds and insects whose activities and rhythms always transform throughout the day and night.
In this track there is so much: rains that were not predicted by the weather forecast channels, several frog species singing from the small water opening (called “banhado”), an active owl in the distance and many insects heard mostly at night. It doesn’t cease, it’s very alive and vibrant.
