RecordingThrushes at Dawn
Artist:
Nova Scotia, CanadaNotes:
It is first light on the wild Atlantic coast of South Western Nova Scotia. The morning chorus begins to emerge from the Boreal Forest that clings to the headland.
Half a mile away is the ocean, a distant softness of rhythmic waves breaking. Hermit Thrushes break the silence with their ethereal song and with them Common Yellowthroat and White Throated Sparrow are in full song.
American Crow, Magnolia Warbler and Golden Crowned Kinglet can also be heard.
