The Rebellious Katun, part 2

Altai, Russia
Notes:

The recording was made among sparse vegetation on a rocky outcrop along the bank of the Katun River. The loud gurgling of the river and the forceful gusts of wind dominate the foreground, yet birdsong still breaks through.
The bank of the Katun River in a valley surrounded by uplands, not far from the village of Kuyus. The vegetation is typical of a high-mountain landscape: steppes with open fields, low-growing trees and shrubs, grassy areas, and a hilly terrain.
