Spotless Starlings’ Artistry in the Countryside

Artist:
Alentejo, Portugal
Notes:

This recording is a great display of the mimicry talents of the spotless starlings (Sturnus unicolor), a resident bird which is present mostly in the Iberian Peninsula.

In a rather well conserved spot of the fragile Montado ecosystem, I was truly amazed by the vibrant bird song in the Autumn.

Perhaps this illustrates that a careful managed area by humans and for the all living beings in the region can actually thrive in reciprocal relationships between all inhabitants.
