Nocturnal bird sounds from the western bank of the Yenisei river at the small village of Mirnoye, Central Siberia. This is one of the most undisturbed areas in the Eurasian boreal region when it comes to forest harvesting and other human intrusions in the forest ecosystem, however with heavy ship traffic on the Yenisei River.
