Night on the Adriatic island presents a whole different series of subtle sounds than during the daytime. You can hear Scoops Owl hooting, crickets, and distant waves crashing on the rocky coast. This recording was captured on a small hill overlooking the remote bay south of Lastovo Island. With a completely wild coastal landscape and no humans around, it felt pretty surreal, like being back in time when Mediterranean was much more isolated.
