RecordingMountain Valley
Artist:
Chopta, IndiaNotes:
This recording captures increasingly rare ambience of the largely untouched habitat of Middle Himalayas near Chopta Valley, situated at 2,900 meters. While Middle Himalayas spans vast territories with forested slopes and valleys, much of it has been impacted by human settlement, farming, and urban development. These preserved wild forest slopes, stretching across the valley, represent one of the rare remaining areas where nature can be still experienced in its pure form. An undisturbed Himalayan forest ecosystem has become increasingly precious as development continues to reshape the Middle Himalayan landscape.
