It was 6:40 in March 18, 1993, and the start of yet another beautiful day in the Taman Negara rainforest.
I had been camping near some small streams about 7KM from the Tembeling and Tahan river junction.

On this day there were fewer birds present for the dawn chorus and a number of rhinoceros hornbills were in the trees overhead.
They make their presence known as the recording progresses along with a hypnotic and mesmerizing cicada concert.
