Spring in the mountains of Yilan county, North-East of Taiwan.
A group of endemic tree-frogs Rhacophorus moltrechti Boulenger,1908 (莫氏樹蛙) are singing in a little swampy area in the forest, at 1650 meters high. The male amphibians are calling energetically, at first sparsely. Then their voices are accumulating in crescendo into a loud and stable chorus.
