There’s no rain, just thunder. It is hot, quiet, and very remote. There are two major water caches on this section, maintained by a previous PCT hiker named Devilfish. Without those caches, this section could be incredibly dangerous. I’ve never heard such articulate thunder before. A black-throated sparrow calls nearby.
