The forested green valley in the middle of the little mountain is bursting with a vibrant dawn chorus. The landscape in South West Kenya is characterized by the presence of little hills and mountains that emerge from the flat horizon of the Savanna. Here, one might discover a distinct ecosystem that generates a unique soundscape. I spent the night camping in the bush and, shortly before sunrise, I positioned the microphones at a distance to capture these moments of awakening mountain.
