Iberian Green Frog Chorus

Artist: Melissa Pons
Alentejo, Portugal

The common frogs have been making quite a symphony, notably more intense after a period of rain followed by an unusual very warm period that reminds us of Summer days and nights.

Setting myself in the place by the edge of the water, a long moment of stillness is necessary for the frogs to resume their singing. It sounds quite loud and intense with the microphones near the water edge but the clarity of their voices is amazing to listen to. is a completely free streaming service of 800+ nature sounds from around the world, offering natural soundscapes and guided meditations for people who wish to listen to nature, relax, and become more connected.
