The mating call of the Great Bittern was recorded during a lunar eclipse in the vicinity of Milicz Ponds in Barycz Valley. The male emits a deep, sighing fog-horn or bull-like boom with a quick rise and only slightly longer fall, easily audible from a distance of five kilometers on a calm night. Amphibians heard in the recording: European fire-bellied toad, Edible frog, Marsh frog, European tree frog
