Frogs and toads, cicadas, crickets and fireflies by the Atlantic ocean
This soundscape was recorded in a small village called Trinidad (Brazil). This is a fisher’s town 4 hours away from Rio de Janeiro, and it is part of the Serra da Bocaina Reserve which in turn is part of the Serra do Mar, one of the biggest natural parks in Brazil which have about 1500 km of natural mountain chains of the Atlantic Forest. A very well preserved area in terms of biodiversity.
In this audio, you can listen to different frogs and toads, cicadas, crickets and fireflies with the sound of the Atlantic ocean in the distance and a small river in the back.
