This soundscape was recorded at night in the Indigenous reserve of Chigorodocito, in Antioquia. This is a well preserved area in terms of biodiversity, where you can listen you can listen to frogs and toads, cicadas, crickets and fireflies.
The area surrounding the Chigorocito Reserve has been affected by deforestation and habitat destruction due to banana plantations, which makes it even more important to preserve and grow protected areas like the Chigorocito Reserve.
