For Whom the Bell Tolls, part 1
Artist:
Altai Republic, RussiaNotes:
The recording was made on the bank of the Edigan River at the moment when a small herd of freely grazing horses approached the opposite bank from our camp. Against the background of the river’s turbulent noise, the bell of one of the horses in the herd can be clearly heard. The bank of the Edigan River in a valley surrounded by uplands. The vegetation is characteristic of a high-mountain landscape: steppes, low-growing trees and shrubs along the riverbanks, grassy fields, and a hilly terrain.
