Dusk Chorus

Kubah National Park, Sarawak, Malaysia
Recommended charity: Tabin Wildlife
Notes:

The Empress Cicada is the world’s largest cicada species, and has a call to match. It’s pulsing, electric-saw-like sound is strangely beautiful and a familiar sound in Borneo’s tropical rainforest. In this sample a White-rumped Shama sings sweetly, & the the sound of insects intensify as evening sets in.
