Dawn in the West African Savanna

Artist:
Bakadadji, Senegal
Recommended charity: Panthera Senegal
Notes:

Listen to the monotonous but hypnotic chorus of Vinaceous doves and Red-billed hornbills, accompanied by a multitude of insect chirps. Bulbuls, bush-shrikes, wood-hoopoes, doves and many other species complement the avian symphony. If you listen closely you will also hear distant baboons squabbling as the sun rises and they don’t feel like waking up just yet. Geese, ducks and ibises occasionally offer a less than harmonious alternate to the birdsong.
