Dawn at the Swan Pond

Artist:
Sinlahekin Valley, USA
Notes:

Recorded in a remote valley along the eastern Cascade mountains. Canadian Geese and Trumpeter Swan vocalizations pierce the ambient silence in late winter. Near evening the large birds are active and social. A unique chance to listen in on their communications.

These sounds were recorded on the ancestral land of the Okanagan Suknaqinx, or Syilx.

Exceptionally low-noise microphones in various arrays capture the delicate sounds of the environment. If you’d like to know more please get in touch.
