Coyotes in Mexican Sierra

This is a recording of a pack of coyotes rallying each other before going down the mountain, possibly in search of food or water. It was done from a far away distance, hence the night insects can actually be heard in the forefront and the coyotes in the background.
I love the idea of those coyotes… or at least their sound signature getting immortalized here and for future listeners, before they ultimately become even more rare to listen to in natural conditions or, sadly -, and I hope I’m wrong on this…- become extinct
