The Congo Basin rainforest contains the second-largest rainforest on Earth. The high canopy and dense understory make it difficult to observe animals, but their vocalizations fill the air day and night. This recording was collected in the remote Lomami National Park. The park encompasses 8,874 km2 of lowland rainforest and savanna in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Daniel Alempijevic, Primatology lab, Florida Atlantic University.
