A curious beaver is hanging around my microphones on a lake shore, hissing, growling and slapping its tail on the water surface.

Further away on the lake, a couple of loons sings in chorus, their echo reverbarting in the night. Recorded at Lac a François, Montcerf-Lytton, during the shooting of the short film Amies written and directed by Marie Davignon.

The recording is featured in the sound track. Species : North American Beaver (Castor canadensis), Common Loon (Gavia immer).
