Savannas in Southern Africa are some of the most lush and beautiful sounding environments I’ve ever recorded. The variety of species is just staggering. What’s more important, the open landscape allows the calls to travel much further than in rainforests or jungles so the soundscape has depth, is beautifully layered and incredibly lush.
