An Intimate Recording On a Tree Branch

Despite large areas of the woods still being covered with snow, the songs of Spring are clearly already here.

Recorded under a big oak tree near, this is capturing plenty of bird activity, like a passerine highway. They are going back and forth for the refilled bird feeder. The rain, like soft needles, brings another level of intimacy. A soundscape that is perhaps very familiar to this tree.
