Three Barred Owls are in a Bigleaf Maple Tree hissing with a Robin nearby. I get the feeling despite being outnumbered and much smaller in size, this Robin isn’t one to be easily intimidated. In a dense forest in Washington I curiously watch and listen to this territorial display take place.
