Earth.fm stations

Listen to the latest recording from Earth.fm

At Earth.fm, we are proud of our collection of more than 1,200 nature soundscapes. The longest and most complex, in particular, showcase the incredible richness and diversity of our planet. However, we also realise that our archive can be overwhelming, and that there is sometimes a need for simplicity – for pure recordings that focus on specific sounds.

For that reason, we have introduced Earth.fm stations – channels that stream specific nature sounds such as rain, ocean, or wind. Like radio stations, they can be tuned into at any time, and listened to for as long as desired. The omission of recording details creates the illusion of an endless soundscape, producing an immersive effect and making it easier to achieve states of focus and relaxation.

Stations are available directly on the home screen of the Earth.fm mobile app – just press play! As with standard recordings, users can toggle between the collapsed and full-screen player, but with a simplified interface. The stations feature a soft, nature-inspired color scheme and are accompanied by creative illustrations and animations. At present, two stations are available for free to all users: Rain and Ocean. In addition, members can enjoy Wind, Storm, Forest, and Bird stations.

And this is just the beginning, as we are planning a number of enhancements, including multiple channels for each station. For example, the Rain station will contain options such as drizzle, soft rain, and downpour. We are also considering offline functionality, and are working on making stations accessible via our website.

📍 To use this feature in the Earth.fm app, you will need to update it to the latest version: 1.16.0. You can do this for Android in Google Play or for Apple in the App Store
